- ➤ Members of the Knit Hat Ministry at Bausman Memorial United Church of Christ spent much of the year making more than 1,100 handmade hats for over a dozen groups in Berks County—some hats were sent to the Lakota Indians—helping keep people warm as the weather cools. - ➤ Box of Berks and the Berks Agricultural Resource Network (BARN) launched a Give Back Box project featuring food boxes that include local flavors and support local food producers, with 10 percent of each sale donated to BARN.
