- ➤ Brandywine Heights School District will host a Veterans Day program and luncheon Tuesday, Nov. 11 at 9 a.m. in the middle school — the event is open to veterans who live locally or are students’ relatives and will feature an American Legion essay contest and schoolwide poster contest with winners recognized at the assembly while selected veterans lead Q&A sessions and display tours with artifacts and therapy dogs. - ➤ On Oct 4, the 12th annual Guts and Glory Digestive Health and Wellness Fair at Jim Dietrich Park in Muhlenberg Township featured Kathryn Veazey from Drexel College of Medicine using a wearable model with plush organs — the event also offered dance, martial arts, aromatherapy, and healthy eating tips and was sponsored by My Gut Instinct.
