On Oct 3, a breakfast club is set at B2 Bistro while events—such as an Oct 9 empowerment evening with Dr. Katie Sandoe, Berks LaunchBox workshops on branding and 3D printing, two management sessions at RACC on Oct 15, chamber meetings on Oct 28, a fundraiser on Nov 7, and a workshop on Nov 18—offer varied registration fees from free to $1,595.  Reading Eagle

CULTURE NEWS

  • The Puerto Rican Civic Society in Berks County unveiled a new mural that shows the Puerto Rican flag—symbols of local pride—and coqui frogs, a native icon. The artwork marks a fresh update at the society as it celebrates its cultural heritage.  WFMZ-TV
  • Visitors at Berks County Heritage Center saw the Gruber Wagon Works belt and pulley system run on electric power on Saturday, Sept. 27—reviving a historic demonstration as county employee Rick Shultz checked the belts while guides explained the building’s early 20th-century legacy.  Reading Eagle

  • Wyomissing Spartans won 48-22 on Saturday against Donegal at their home field by rushing for six touchdowns and 420 yards, with Chase Eisenhower scoring twice. They remain unbeaten at 6-0 and will travel to play Daniel Boone on Thursday night.  Reading Eagle
