  • Hundreds took part in the 11th Annual Hear Our Voices 5K Run and Walk on Sunday at Gring’s Mill Recreation Center to support Breast Cancer Support Services of Berks County and honor original organizer Holly Lamont. Organizers said the event reminded the community that no one faces breast cancer alone—families enjoyed rock painting and music.  WFMZ-TV

  • Berks Heritage Center hosted its first adults-only field trip on Sunday and gave visitors a chance to explore the Wagon Works and Canal Museum, join a stream study program, and visit the onsite Herb Garden—an idea inspired by an online post.  WFMZ-TV
