- ➤ Reading Hospital held its 16th annual Stuff the Bus event Wednesday to collect back-to-school supplies such as folders, pencils, and hand sanitizer for 25 nursing offices and 92 classrooms in the Reading School District—led by the Magnet Nurse Champions. Reading Eagle
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Two 15-year-olds have been charged as adults with attempted homicide, aggravated assault and robbery after a fight turned robbery on the 1000 block of Bern Road in Wyomissing last Tuesday when one suspect shot the victim in the leg and struck him in the head during a mutual physical fight—one suspect is Ethan Arce of Reading and the other is Ethan Gonzalez of Wyomissing, according to Berks County District Attorney John Adams. - ➤ Yesterday, Cumru Township man Junior Rondon-Ceballo, 31, was arrested after police seized two kilograms of fentanyl — drugs valued at nearly $500,000 — and other paraphernalia during a joint investigation that began in July, and he now faces charges related to drug possession and intent to deliver.
