- ➤ CASA of Berks County has marked 10 years of working for abused children in foster care since starting in 2015—nearly 60 volunteers now advocate for kids and the group will hold its 10th Anniversary Gala of Light on October 4 to honor its founding partners and the Champion for Children. EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ City of Reading celebrated 53 students' graduation from the Mayor's Summer Youth Program on Monday afternoon at Centro Hispano’s Casa De La Amistad Event Center—an eight-week course offering 20 hours weekly of technical and vocational training and work experience with local groups.
