- ➤ Berks County Sheriff’s Office is seeking two fugitives—Dionisio Morales, 47, last seen in the 1200 block of North Ninth Street for fraudulently obtaining food stamps, and Jenna Garman, 32, last seen in the 1300 block of Fairview Avenue for giving a false witness statement on a firearm purchase background check—with physical details provided and anyone with information urged to call 610-478-6390. - ➤ Studio B in Boyertown will open an art exhibit called LIFE on Aug. 29 from 5–7 p.m.—the free show featuring local artists in all mediums will run until Nov. 30. Reading Eagle
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ PennDOT will close lanes on Route 222 south of Berks County in Lancaster County from Aug. 22 at 8 p.m. to Aug. 25 at 6 a.m. to repair bridges between Bushong Road and Pool Road—this work is part of an $8.5 million project that will finish on Oct. 20. Reading Eagle
