ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Paw paws are ancient trees that have survived for 50 million years by spreading their seeds through animals and early peoples, and researchers now note that these trees are moving upland as deer favor their bitter taste—locals often pick the brief, riper fruit in September for tasty treats. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Amity Township officials filed a complaint with the Public Utility Commission today after faulty power equipment caused frequent outages that left about 2,000 customers without power and disabled traffic signals along the 422-corridor.
