  • Zuber Realty concluded its month-long food drive for veterans after a successful Stuff the Bus event at Redner’s Market in Boyertown that collected boxes of food, cash, checks, and gift cards. The donations were delivered to Veterans Making a Difference headquarters (645 N. Sixth St.) to support Berks County veterans.  Reading Eagle

ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • A driver was hospitalized after a single-vehicle rollover crash occurred on Route 61 in West Brunswick Township Sunday morning — state police said.  WFMZ-TV

CULTURE NEWS

  • Leesport florist Kelly Piccioni, a Penn State Extension horticulture educator, led her team as one of 28 chosen nationwide to design floral décor for the First Lady’s Luncheon held in Washington in April. The team created 160 centerpieces, a 60-foot head table and other arrangements using flowers from Certified American Grown farms—showing support for American agriculture.  Reading Eagle
  • Reading Theater Project will present In Nature’s Studio on July 27 from 4-5:30 p.m. at the Reading Public Museum Arboretum—500 Museum Road, and the free event will guide the audience along a path to view micro performances inspired by the museum’s Toytopia exhibit.  Reading Eagle
