- ➤ The Reading-Berks Association of REALTORS will host its 6th annual 5K Run for Shelter at Gring’s Mill Recreation Area on October 4 to raise funds for Habitat for Humanity of Berks County — Neighborhood Housing Services of Greater Berks. Race-day registration will start at 8:00 a.m., the race will begin at 9:00 a.m. and an awards ceremony will follow at 10:00 a.m. Berks Weekly

- ➤ A new art exhibit at the Yocum Institute for Arts Education opened on July 5 in the Holleran Gallery and will remain on display through July 26.
