  • Way-Har Farm Market in Jefferson Township is joining this summer’s 8th annual Scooped: An Ice Cream Trail by offering about 90 rotating flavors, including nondairy options, as it prepares to celebrate 55 years in September. Ice cream lovers can earn rewards by creating a digital passport and visiting the 51 stops on the trail (with rewards for reaching 600 and 1,000 points).  Reading Eagle

ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • A serious crash between a tractor-trailer and a car on Route 61 and Zweizing Road in Perry Township occurred just before 6 p.m. Wednesday and left three juveniles in critical condition and a commercial building heavily damaged — the tractor-trailer's driver was unharmed and Route 61 reopened by 10:30 p.m.  WFMZ-TV

CULTURE NEWS

  • Albright College will auction most of its art collection in July at an event in Downingtown and online to help ease its budget gap as the school struggles to maintain the works — the collection's contents and local significance remain unclear.  WFMZ-TV

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Officials with the USDA announced that Montgomery County and six contiguous counties are eligible for emergency loans to help farmers recover from severe drought conditions. The loans will help cover essential repairs and refinancing needs—applications will be accepted until February 2nd.  WFMZ-TV
