- ➤ On Memorial Day morning in Jim Dietrich Park, people gathered in Muhlenberg Township to honor fallen service members. The event featured performances by Junior ROTC, a brass band, and Boy Scouts — speakers paid tribute by sharing heartfelt poems and stories. WFMZ-TV
- ➤ On Monday, May 26th, several towns across Berks held Memorial Day ceremonies to honor US armed forces who died in service, even though few people attended. In Fleetwood & Sinking Spring, parades and flag placements kept a 157-year tradition alive & honored those who served. Reading Eagle
