- ➤ General Spaatz Museum is selling raffle tickets for four winners to ride in Panchito, a vintage WWII-era B-25 bomber, during the Mid-Atlantic WWII Airshow on Saturday, June 6. - ➤ The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection awarded over $1 million in grants as part of its Environmental Education Grants Program, including $4,995 for a pilot project at Alvernia University in Berks County that uses balloon-based air quality research (designed to engage students and local residents). - ➤ Berks Sinfonietta announced winners of its scholarship competition on today, May 1; senior Joshua Griffith and junior Grace Campling each will receive a $500 scholarship and perform at an Aug. 22 concert.
