- ➤ A Greenwich Township family was forced to leave their home after a two-alarm fire on Jay Lane near Krumsville on Sunday afternoon resulted in the loss of their dog — firefighters said most of the blaze was under control within 30 minutes. Reading Eagle
- ➤ Reading firefighters responded to a 2-alarm fire at a historic home on Palm Street near Albright College Monday around 2:50 p.m. Neighbors said the homeowner called 911 and no one was injured despite significant interior damage. WFMZ-TV

- ➤ Reading School District unveiled plans for its new Innovation Academy for grades 10 through 12 starting 2026‑27 — the program blends classroom lessons with hands-on career training and local internships, with acceptance letters coming this spring. Reading Eagle
