- ➤ Reading Public Library will host its 12th annual Celebrity Bartender fundraiser on May 20 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Saucony Creek Franklin Station (100 S. Seventh St.), where four local professionals will mix drinks to help raise $15,000 for free library programs. Reading Eagle
- ➤ The nonprofit American Hero Wishes in Berks County is hosting a letter drive named America 250: Honoring Our Heroes to collect 250 letters and 25 care packages for veterans.
