- ➤ A police officer discovered a home burning along Route 10 in Robeson Township early Wednesday—April 9—and investigations showed the fire claimed the lives of two occupants. Reading Eagle
- ➤ Two residents, 69-year-old Steve Kurtz and 34-year-old Carolyn Kurtz, died after a fire gutted their home in Robeson Township early Wednesday morning when a police officer smelled smoke and alerted first responders—crews arrived just after 1 a.m. and found no working smoke detectors. WFMZ-TV
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ On Wednesday, district attorney John Adams said defendant Julian Evans, whose cooperation helped convict co-defendants in the Brookline Park shooting that killed 18-year-old Amiere Bibbs on March 14th, 2022, pleaded guilty to four charges and was sentenced to six to 15 years in state prison — making him the final defendant in the case.
