- ➤ Gerald Veasley is a local jazz leader who runs many projects such as the late-night jam at Boscov’s Berks Jazz Fest, the Unscripted Jazz series at SOUTH, and a summer Bass Boot Camp from 2002. - ➤ Berks Jazz Fest kicked off on Sunday morning at Holy Cross United Methodist Church in downtown Reading with a worship service that featured upbeat music by local musician Dave Kline—whose song 'My Pennsylvania Home' is under consideration as a state song.
