- ➤ The Peanut Bar in West Reading hosted a sold-out fundraiser for St. Francis Home on Tuesday in memory of Nelson Dillman, a regular guest who lost his battle with glioblastoma, as the Esteban Ruiz Trio played live jazz. - ➤ Reading City Council voted 4—3 on Monday to reject Opportunity House’s plan to use $2.9 million in HOME funds to buy an apartment building on South Fourth St for affordable housing.
