  • On Friday night, the Sadik Akdogan Quartet kicked off Jazz Fest with a lively performance at the West Reading Motor Club in Berks County.  WFMZ-TV
  • Yocum Institute for Arts Education unveils Sacred Space—an exhibition of women artists—with an opening reception today from 2 to 4 p.m. at its Holleran Gallery; the exhibit runs through April 24.  Reading Eagle
  • Paulette McWilliams and other jazz artists will perform at the fourth Celebrating Women in Jazz concert Saturday at noon in the DoubleTree by Hilton Reading Grand Ballroom. The show (inspired by Lady Sings the Blues) will offer both acoustic and electric sets.  Reading Eagle
  • Paulette McWilliams’ new documentary will be screened at the 35th annual Boscov’s Berks Jazz Fest on Saturday at 10:15 a.m. at the DoubleTree Amphitheater at the DoubleTree by Hilton Reading & will include a Q&A session with director Angelo Montrone and bassist Marcus Miller.  Reading Eagle
