- ➤ The Help A Girl Out drive in Berks County ended on March 7th with 86,151 donated feminine products, an 82% rise over last year. New partnerships and over 60 collection boxes at more than 30 locations helped expand the effort into Schuylkill County. Berks Weekly

- ➤ On March 28 and 29 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Alvernia University will host ‘23: The Aftermath of Gun Violence’ in Francis Hall to confront the impact of gun violence through art, performance, and community dialogue. Organized by RIZE Youth Arts Organization—Shaykayarira Delrio-Gonzalez and JCWK Dance Lab, the event features a Miller Gallery exhibition, a 50-minute immersive performance, and a panel discussion with advocacy resources. - ➤ Drexel University College of Medicine at Tower Health marked a historic match day on Friday as its first graduating class filled all 108 residency positions from 17,000 applicants. - ➤ Penn State Berks hospitality management students won third place for their chilled watermelon soup recipe at Opportunity House’s 23rd annual Souper Bowl on (Feb. 3) at the Beaver Athletics and Wellness Center. - ➤ Several pastors in the Reading Latin Pastor Association say a new immigration policy threatens religious liberty and could lead to future federal immigration raids.
