  • Berks Co. woman Alneasa Jordan has helped girls access free prom dresses at a new Wyomissing location through her Girls Empowerment Movements for 14 years. The program now offers dresses, shoes and accessories for prom season and is seeking donations for hair and makeup support.  WFMZ-TV

BUSINESS NEWS

  • Local business events begin on March 23 with a workshop on buying a business at 737 Constitution Drive, Exton. Additional sessions through May include the Boyertown Progress Dinner, an AI workshop at Reading’s GoggleWorks Center, and networking breakfasts—offering professionals a chance to boost their skills and connections.  Reading Eagle

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • PennDOT crews will perform road maintenance across Berks County from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. workdays, cutting brush on Tilden Road in Centre Township, Dunkel’s Church Road in Greenwich Township — and on I-78 from Exits 29 to 23. Bridge repairs are scheduled on Route 422.  Reading Eagle
