- ➤ A horse was rescued after it fell through ice into a creek at Hobby Horse Ranch on Hartz Road in Ruscombmanor Township Wednesday afternoon. Emergency crews called V&M Towing Service to remove the animal to a nearby field around 4:12 p.m. Reading Eagle
- ➤ Several local organizations are serving pork and sauerkraut today as part of a New Year's Day tradition. Ruscombmanor Fire Co. offers a meal from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. while other groups host events from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Robesonia and Brecknock Township. WFMZ-TV
